TERMS & CONDITIONS
All confirmed booking in which deposits are paid, are deemed to adhere to the following terms and conditions:

PAYMENT & DEPOSIT TERMS: lovealoons requires a £100 deposit for DIY hire and £50 for applied hire to secure a booking. Any charges will be deducted from the deposit e.g. loss of items, breakages and rips. If your hire incurs no extra charges this deposit is fully refunded. The full balance is due no later than 14 days prior to the date of the event and can be paid in cash, by paypal (4% surcharge), google checkout (4% surcharge), bank transfer or by cheque. We try to refund the deposit within 14 working days after the hire date however this may vary, however will not take any longer then 1 month. If any damage or loss of items add up to more than the deposit amount the customer will be legally responsible to pay for the replacement of the items. Your full balance is due 2 weeks before your event, otherwise this is taken as a cancellation by the customer and the deposit will not be refunded. If you have not completed your full balance payment by 9am of the day of your event then your order is cancelled and your deposit and other monies will not be refunded (e.g. your order is £100, you have paid £50 already but owe £50. this has to be paid before the event day otherwise we have no choice but to not complete your event decorations).
PAYPAL AND GOOGLE PAYMENTS: any paypal and google after the first deposit payment will be subject to a 4% surcharge to pay for paypal charges. you can add this on to a payment e.g. £20 would equal £19.20 or you can add it on e.g. £20.80.
CHEQUES: a 50p charge applies to every cheque cashed. extra charge will apply if a cheque bounces.
CANCELLATION: This booking cannot be cancelled, except in writing within 24 hours of booking. If the Customer cancels the booking once the deposit has been paid, lovealoons will hold the deposit and payments from the full balance to be used by the Customer towards any future event booked by the Customer. However the deposit can be transfer to a friend or family member of the person that booked. charges will apply if you cancel of any reasons other then illness within 2 months before the date booked. these charges will be sent to you in the post and will include cancellation charges and upto 30% of your final bill. lovealoons will only cancel if there is no other way and will always refund all monies. If cancellation by lovealoons the refunded will be processed asap but may take upto 21 working days to complete. This will be refunded by the method paid or by cheque. lovealoons withhold the right to cancel your booking for unforseen circumstances at any point. If this happens you will be contacted and your deposit refunded.
'Change of terms' to a lower worth order WITHOUT authorisation from us is not allowed. once you have confirmed an order this is what will be recieved, however you can still increase the order, and in some conditions exchange items of same value. If you do change your order, we hold the right to cancel and your deposit will not be refunded. Any money already paid towards balance will be refunded minus a 'change of terms' fee which will be no higher then 70% of monies paid. (change of terms means any changes that reduces the order or a massive difference to orginally agreed). If you wish to make a change to your order please e-mail and request the changes. Changes must be worth equal or above the original order. A reply will state if your changes are authorised or declined.
RESERVED RIGHTS: lovealoons reserve the right to change any price grades at any time. This will affect current orders booked. You will at any point of change be offered a full refund, or to complete the order under new prices. You will have 14 days to respond before the change is automatic.
REFUNDS: we do not feel there is any reason for a refund to be made after the hire has happened.
DIY hire: items must be picked up and returned within 48 hours of hire. a margin of time will be agreed to return the items within which is normally an hour (e.g. between 6-7pm) if items are late and is not unauthorised late charges will be applied. only the hirer themselves can pick up the covers unless a signed agreement from the hirer and the replacement person is sent to me authorising this pick up. all items must be counted and checked by the hirer for any damage discolourings etc. the hirer (or the replacement person for pickup) will need to sign to say the items are acceptable, all counted and is clean and undamaged condition. if sent by courier the insurance covered in the prices is of the items. items will be sent 1 week before hire and will have a pre-arranged courier pickup date of which someone must be in to give the courier the boxes from 9-6pm.
CHAIR COVERS: The Hirer is responsible for and loss or damage to covers and sashes whist on loan up until their satisfactory return. A charge of £10.00 will be made for each unreturned chair cover or table overlay or each chair cover or table overlay which is returned in an unusable condition. This fee covers the replacement cost. Reasonable soiling which is removed through laundering will not incur charges. A charge of £2.00 will be made for each unreturned chair sash or each chair sash which is returned in an unusable condition. This fee covers the replacement cost. Reasonable soiling which is removed through laundering will not incur charges. Other damage such as rips or burns will incur a charge of no more than £10 to replace/ fix any damage. Photo evidence will be available to the customer upto 7 days after hire, produced only on request by customer.
HIRE OF OTHER ITEMS: The Hirer is responsible for and loss or damage to other items whilst on loan up until their satisfactory return. A replacement charge will be made for each unreturned item or each item which is returned in an unusable condition.
BALLOON SAFETY: Please Note that our balloons are inflated with helium gas - for the safety and wellbeing of your guests, we suggest that the gas is not inhaled directly, and that no attempts are made to syphon it off.
POPPING/ EXPLODING BALLOON POLICY: It is the couples/hirer's responsibility to make sure that your venue know well in advance that you purchased a popping or exploding balloon with the intention of application to the selected function room. The venue room must be appropriate in height for the popping balloon, again this must be checked by the couple. If lovealoons arrive at a venue and find that it is not apropiate then an equivalent in value of balloons will be produced instead. due to the lastness of these change the couple may not be conacted about this and not refund will be given. please check that you venue is happy to have the popping balloon and the hieght of the room before your event date. please also request of copy of any restrictions your venue may have against the popping balloon. If any of these policies for any reasons e.g. fire policy or health and safety reasons require a selection positioning of the balloon, (e.g. can not go in the centre of the room because the smoke detector is too close by) then lovealoons will not be able to apply this balloon but are more then happy to deliver it to the venue for the venue to apply for the couple, to the couple themselves to apply. We accept no liability for any event that may happen as a result of a popping balloon or any breach of venue policy if this is not checked out before your event date. Our popping balloon are triggered by a popping stick only, these are purchased seperately unless otherwise stated.
LIABILITY: lovealoons and its workers will not be held responsible for injury or damage to persons or property sustained from articles hired or any decorations such as balloons. this agreement and the contents here of represent the only warranties, express or implied, between the parties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for the particular purpose and for any other obligation or liability on the part of lovealoons. lovealoons shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage directly or consequently arising out of the use or inability to use any items, whether used singularly or in conjunction with any other equipment.
a cake knife is available to hire with the mega saver package. knife only to he handed by adults and with care. lovealoons will not be responsible for any injuries caused.also lovealoons may need to use safety pins on some items. we use them in the safest way possible. lovealoons will be be responsible for any injuries caused.
PHOTOS:lovealoons reserve the right to take pictures of applied items hire to you before the event starts. these will be used on our website or other lovealoons advertisements. these will not include any personal info (e.g. banners with name etc) or venue names. the date of the event and the approx location (e.g. hotel in Rugby) may be used. if you do not wish us the state the date or location please contact use before the event date. we hold the right to all the pictures on this site and copies of our pictures is not allowed.
MINIMUM ORDER: the minimum order is £100, this does not include the deposit or the travelling costs. The main order must be worth £100 or more.
CONSULTATIONS: The minimum charge for these is £50. Each circumstance may equal a different quote, please contact us for details. Consultations at our home will be charged at £50.
TRAVELLING COSTS: The traveling costs added to the hire price is calculated according to AA map router for reference of distance (e.g.Rugby to postcode or address given). any applied hire takes 4 journeys to apply and remove items. the charge is 30p per mile traveling (unless otherwise stated). lovealoons will contact you as to the travelling cost and this can be applied before or after a confirmation booking has been paid. Some applied hire will not have a travelling cost applied if within 15 mins drive from Rugby (we reserve the right to change this at anytime). travelling costs apply to all applied or delivered hire even if not stated or quoted.
QUOTES: All quotes given by lovealoons have a 1 months expiry and are subject to price change. If you do not book (pay deposit) within a month from the quote being given the price will need to be reviewed, and a new quote given. If you have already booked but have not confirmed your order any quote given will be subject to prices changes and change of offers.
COMMUNICATION: lovealoons whilst planning your wedding reception or party will need to keep in good communication with the customer. if at any point a customer who has paid a deposit but fails to then communicate with lovealoons, thier day will be opened up to other protential customers. this will only happened if by e-mail, writing or phone you have failed to reply more then 3 times in a row. if this happens you will be told that you are on a final communication and failure to communicate at this point will lead to unreserved dates. if you then wish to continue your hire etc your date may then be taken by another customer. please contact lovealoons to find out if this has happened. if after 1 month of no response we will take this that he customer wishes to cancel and your deposit will be held until another booking is made.
VENUE SETUP: we do not setup chair, tables or venues. please make sure your venue is ready for setup before the agreed start time.
MEGA SAVER PACKAGES: prices do not include travelling costs unless stated in the package. items numbers are 'upto' which means unless an exact amount was agreed we will leave as many we feel is nessacary within the 'upto' amount. should any problems accur we will do our best to solve them without bothering the couple but this may mean alternatives etc, will be provided. All packages are subject to time permitting. Balloons are always completed last incase of shortage if time atleast all essentials and complete. All items left by lovealoons must be returned, including: balloon weights, organza, bows ribbons, the wishing well, tablelcothes, sashes, covers and safety pins. we recommend you let us remove the items sot his can be checked. Failure to do so will incur charges and even court proceedings. Our mega saver prices do not include setup of table and chairs and room arranging in any way. your room must be ready for us to start setting up at our starting time arranged with the customer. If this is not done then it will delay the package being completed. No refund will be given if you do not sort out thr room, access and setting up times correctly. Please provide us with table measurements, if these are incorrect lovealoons hold no responsiblity for this. Also if you require polycotton covers please provide chair measurements.
ADS: lovealoons advertise on many websites and when offers change we try our best to update all sites. however sometimes there is a lag in change of details on some sites and some old ads may not change. only prices on this website are official and any quote will be given by then only. however if you do see an ad you are interested in not on the website let us know.
SPECIAL OFFERS: no 2 offers or discounts etc can be used together. free gifts offer not valid for DIY hire, mega saver package or party/chirstmas deals. and if an alternative free gift is accepted then the listed we gifts do not apply.
